I was a child welfare social worker for 34 years, mostly as a court investigator. Faith has always been a part of my life. Hence, my laterst book, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John: A Court Investigator Examines the Gospels. I wrote my first book, In Place of the Parent: Inside Child Protective Services with the goal of improving the child welfare/juvenile court system and to inspire readers to become foster parents. My second book, Build A Better Bridge: Social Policy is also meant to inspire change. There are cost-effective ways to address poverty and other social ills. My third book Beyond Amelia: Lesser-known Women of Yesteryear was inspired by a visit to the History of Diving Museum in Key West, Florida. I have had the pleasure of appearing on various podcasts and radio programs. Scroll down to see a list of appearances. I am also a Freemason. Shortly before the invasion the Russians hacked the website for the Grand Lodge Of Ukraine. Their website is back up, but with officers' name not posted as is customary. If you are mason and buy one of my books, let me know. I want to help our brothers in need.
